MIPOL2026 at a Glance
CONGRESS DURATION

The Opening Ceremony will take place on July 1st at 10:30 AM in the Falcone e Borsellino room of the University of Milan (Via Festa del Perdono 7). The event will feature a welcome address by the Director of the Department of Chemistry, marking the start of three exciting days of scientific exchange and collaboration.

The Closing Ceremony is scheduled for July 3rd at approximately 5:30 PM.

The official language of the congress is English.
ORAL SESSIONS

The oral presentations will consist of keynotes, invited lectures and short oral presentations.

Keynotes will last 45 minutes.
-
Invited lectures will last 20 minutes.
-
Short oral presentations will last 15 minutes.
Each presentation slot includes time for discussion to encourage interaction and debate
MIPOL YOUNG Symposium
- Throughout the program, designated mini-sessions will feature oral presentations by Young Scientists, that is, Ph.D. students and post-doc fellows aged 32 or younger.
- A dedicated committee will be in charge to stimulate the debate following the presentation of our young colleagues.
POSTER SESSION
- Throughout the congress, posters will be on display in the foyer outside the lecture hall.
- During lunch breaks on July 1st and 2nd, authors are encouraged to stand by their posters to engage with participants and exchange ideas.
- The preferred poster size is A0 (841 × 1189 mm).

AWARDS & PRIZES
- The Best Oral Presentation Award is dedicated to participants of the MIPOL Young symposium.
- The award winner will be revealed and honored following the conclusion of the oral sessions.
