Education: Dr. Tomšík Elena is senior scientist and a deputy head of the department of conducting polymers at the Institute of macromolecular chemistry AS. Career: She published 77 papers in international journals, 2 patent, 6 lectures were delivered on the international conferences as invited scientist. She has received several prestigious prizes and fellowships. Research interests: Her works has been focused on the synthesis and properties of semiconducting polymers. She, also, works in the direction of new methods of polymer synthesis, particularly application of acid-assisted method. Moreover, her research is focused on the applying of obtained knowledge for sensor design and energy storage devices.
