Interview to Tiziana Bardelli, PhD: Sales & Application Specialist (NETZSCH Gerätebau GmbH – Italia)

Can you identify a few keywords identifying your company?

At NETZSCH Analyzing & Testing, I’d say: knowledge, partnership, sustainability, and of course our core promise: “Proven Excellence”. We don’t just provide high-end instruments: we share our application expertise and support our customers in making informed decisions, both technically and strategically. Because understanding materials means enabling better performance, improved efficiency, and — ultimately — more sustainable choices.

How does this event align with your company’s values and goals?

MIPOL creates a great space for dialogue between scientists and industry, and that’s exactly where we feel at home. As a company, we’re focused on innovation and on supporting the shift to high-quality, innovative and sustainable materials. Events like this help us connect, learn, and move forward together.

Can you tell us more about the nature of your contribution to the event?

I presented a study on recycled polypropylene blends contaminated with PE, showing how DSC and rheology can be used for both research and practical quality control. It’s part of a broader effort by our Polymer Division at NETZSCH to support recycling workflows, with new solutions currently under development. I can’t say more just yet… but stay tuned!

Would you consider this sponsorship a starting point for a long-term partnership?

Definitely. We believe in building long-term collaborations, especially with communities like MIPOL that value scientific rigor and real-world impact. It’s not our first time here: past editions have already helped us connect with inspiring teams, like Prof. Ranucci’s group, with whom we’re currently working on an exciting set of analyses. This is just the beginning and we’re happy to be part of it.
